How Can You Add a Logo to All Pages of Your Shopify Store
Your logo is probably the most important image in your entire Shopify store.
It’s more important than the image of the best-selling product in your store. Products come and go but your logo represents you, your business, and your brand. It follows you wherever you go. It’s how customers recognize and identify with you.
So, you want it on every page.
Think of Shopify – you don’t need to see the words do know what that big white S on the green shopping bag means, do you?

So, how do you make sure your own logo is on every page of your Shopify store? It’s not difficult to do but it won’t magically appear unless you follow a few simple steps.
Let’s take a look at these steps…
How to add or change your logo on Shopify store
There are six simple steps to ensure your logo appears on every page of your Shopify store.
Go to your theme and click Customize
After logging in to your Shopify account, go to Online Store -> Theme and click Customize on the far right.

Select Header from the left-hand menu
Click on Header from the options panel on the left-hand side.

Select Change, Edit or Remove
If there is no logo uploaded, you will be prompted to upload one (and you can jump ahead to Step 4)
If you already have a logo uploaded, once you click on Header, you will see this:

You have three options: Change, Edit or Remove.
Edit simply allows you to add a descriptive alt text which will help your logo show in search results.
If you click on Change, you will see this:

Upload your image
Any existing images in your library will be displayed in the left-hand panel. To upload a new logo image from your computer, simply click Upload.

Select the image you want from your hard drive and it will then appear in your library and on the sample pages of your store, like this:

Click Select
Once you click Select, your choice of logo will be “live” on all pages of your store.

Customize logo width
You can customize your logo width in pixels by using the slider when you return to the Header section.
This is how a logo of 175 pixels width appears:

And this is how the same logo looks at 250 pixels:

Note that you can also position your logo to the left as in the above examples or centrally as below:

Why bother with a logo on every page?
Some elements of running an ecommerce store take a huge investment of time and/or money with no guarantee of a return.
Adding a logo to every page is not one of them.
It’s easy and everyone should do it – it costs nothing and will help the long-term identity of your store and your brand.
Let’s assume you already have a logo you’re happy with and are not designing a new one. The aim should be to build your business in such a way that the colors, symbols and fonts used in your logo become instantly recognizable and represent all the qualities you have “baked in” to your business.
Customers should feel confident when they see your logo – they trust you and feel comfortable doing business with you. It signals fundamental reasons to buy from you.
A powerful logo like the Nike swoosh or the McDonald’s arches needs no words. As a growing Shopify store with big aspirations, you’ll be aiming a little lower but we can all learn from the world’s biggest brands as we grow.
Most Shopify store owners will be familiar with Kylie Cosmetics, Allbirds, Herschel, Gymshark, Rebecca Minkoff, and so on. All of these brands have used the Shopify platform to grow and now have very recognizable logos.
