How do you send out an existing form to be signed?
To send out a pre-existing form in PDF format for people to sign is easy. Simply click the Upload or Create button in the top left of the dashboard menu and follow the prompts to upload your document.
Once you click Invite to Sign, you are invited to place custom fields in the form using a drag and drop process.
Then simply enter the email address of the intended recipient, type the subject line and message, and click Send Invite.
The recipient will receive a message inviting them to sign the document by clicking on a link. You will also be sent an email confirming that this has been done and another email when the signing of the document has been completed.
Signing a document sent to you
If someone sends a document for you to sign, you can do so in one of several ways.
From a desktop, simply type your name and signNow will generate a handwriting-style signature for you. It doesn’t need to match your real-world handwritten signature to be valid.
If you’d rather attempt to replicate your real signature, you can try that using a mouse, trackpad or touchscreen. Alternatively, you can upload an image of your physical signature.
If you’re on a mobile device, you may be able to draw your signature on the screen. If just initials are required, the process is a little easier.
As well as adding your signature or initials to PDF forms, you can:
